For Cantine Paololeo's Christmas campaign, we chose to tell this truth rather than the one people pretend to live.
The creative direction had one clear mandate: no fairy tales, no idealized family scenes: just the bittersweet, tragicomic reality of the Italian family table. And wine not as decoration, but as the one guest everyone actually wanted there, the undisputed protagonist of every festive lunch and dinner.

The photography, by Ilenia Tesoro, captures every uncomfortable, tender, chaotic moment with the eye of someone who's been at that table too: the wine poured a little too eagerly, the toast that hides everything behind it, the bodies that laugh and crash into each other out of habit more than affection.
